My most recent favorite thing to do for motivation is to read. My favorite books are self help books. Two of my favorite self-help books are “You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life.” by Jen Sincero and “13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do” by Amy Morin. These books have motivated me to not only become a better version of myself but to never give up on myself and keep pushing forward. These books motivate me because of the amazing advice and different scenarios that I can relate to and learn from.
Another way that I like to stay motivated is to look over and study my goals. Looking over my goals uplifts and motivates me because I get to see how far I’ve come and analyze what I need to do to reach them. I also like to have a set of personal goals and career goals. I am also a huge fan of motivational speeches and stories. There are a ton on YouTube and they’re great to listen to, especially in the morning. I’ve watched motivational speeches and Ted Talks from business professionals, actors, and artists. There is also a blog that inspires me that I read often titled, xonecole.com, created by Necole Kane. This blog gives outstanding advice on money, relationships, careers, body positive, and so much more.
