Personal style blogger.

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you all are having a great week so far and I also hope you all had a great Easter holiday.

I always say that if I could live through two past decades it would definitely be the 70's and the 90's. Not only was the music amazing but the fashion was to die for! I always see myself attending peace picnics or jamming to reggae at a Bob Marley concert or even enjoying some Jimi Hendrix. What I love about 70's fashion the most was the hippie and carefree vibe. It seemed like everyone was a free spirit and wanted peace, not war. We see so many trends from the 70's that are now back in style in the new millennial. From bell bottoms to bell sleeves, tie die tee shirts, and the list goes on! Some of my favorite fashion icons from the 70's were Pam Grier, Cher, Twiggy, and Diana Ross.

I'm fascinated by not only the fashion but the culture. During the early 70's the black panther revolution was in full effect. They appreciated their ethnic afros and wore all black. This moment inspired me so much because African Americans were so united and stood by what they believed in.

Even though all decades offered significant fashion trends, I am again influenced by the 70's and 90's the most.

Thank you guys for visiting and please leave feedback!

I was so excited to finally wear my distressed Merxh "fashion girl" t-shirt I bought a while back at their pop-up shop! This is definitely an up and coming brand that you don't want to sleep on. I can't wait to see more from them.

I don't necessarily miss the winter weather in NYC but I definitely miss the fall and winter fashion. As you know the winter season is coming to a close, but wanted to post one more winter outfit that I am really fond of. One of my favorite trends over the winter was puffer jackets. I love pairing them with mini dresses and long boots or booties. We barely had a winter here this year in Atlanta where I currently reside so I was only able to wear my puffer jacket a few times but will definitely pull this  out when winter comes around again.

Another trend that I love are long thigh high boots. I wish I could buy every pair that I see! They're so easy to pair with over-sized band/tour t shirts, mini skirts or dresses, or shorts. Some of my favorite and most popular places to buy them are Ego Official, Stuart Weitzman, Balenciaga, UrbanOg, and Public Desire to name a few. I don't think this trend is going out of style any time soon!

I was so obsessed with this sweatshirt when I received it in the mail from Working Girl/Matte Brand. They make the best sweatsuits, hoodies, swimsuits, and bodysuits. I am inspired by this brand because it's woman owned and I support all working women around the world. This is actually my favorite item that I'm wearing because crop tops are one of my many favorite trends that will never go out of style. It's also perfect for the weather transitioning. This sweatshirt reminds me of the 90's and style icons like Aaliyah. I loved how she wasn't afraid to wear baggy clothes. I paired this sweatshirt with black and white camo pants, black mesh boots, and a black mini suede Chanel bag.
